Anniversary Collections

You must be wondering why this Anniversary card is different from the Silver and the Golden one right?? Well, of cause there is reason behind it. This card was again requested by my colleague and he intend to give this card to his girlfriend although its a belated one.

I did not made this anniversary card so formal although I know most anniversary card should have those wedding look... But this is for a couple who has been together since university and they are both in love with each another for almost four years... They are not married but I can assure you this friend of mine really loves her very very much! I am glad that I had the privilege to do this card for him.

Birthday Collections

Hey!!! How about telling you guys why I made this birthday card?? It was a custom made card request from my poker friend from Facebook. Some of you may know me well enough.. I am a lady who is Crazy over Poker games...LoL...

Well I got to know this friend by the name of SAM from KL and he knows I am into Card Making lately and he said, to test my capability, he requested me to make a card representing a magician wishing a girl Happy Birthday.... Oh Oh.... wait!!! Sam is a deck card magician! Is he good?? I have to say, he is really good in MAGIC by just using the deck of poker cards!!!

Why is the ACE OF SPADE there?? HHmm... This is one of his request that I have to include the Ace of Spade in it.... Oh well, what more can I say for a Magician and a poker game expert!!

Ace of spade is the biggest in the Facebook poker game, and I guess one of the reason why he choose Ace of spade could be because it represents the POWER of MAGIC!!! Haha~~ =)

At the end of the day , I am happy because I find out that he likes the card very much and he even requested me to make him another "I love you" card for his beloved one.... So stay tuned!!!

Christmas Collections

Let me see, how do I start with this Christmas card intro?? Hmm...Maybe I should start with some intro on this blog owner. This blog belongs to a group of 6 of us. Well, I am the only rose among the thorns (AHEM~~)....=) I hope this is a good brief through on our team. Of cause I will slowly tell you more about us from time to time.

Lets start telling you more on this piece of art from an Engineer who has no background of card making. Though some of us think that the santa look weird in the middle of the Christmas wreath, I think it has its uniqueness in every piece of art we made. Don't you think so?? Just like how GOD created us! We are all unique just like this piece of ART!!

I can say that this snow man card is something out of my expectation.... Why I have to say so? Throughout these two years of my card making experience, I never have the inspiration of doing something like this than using the Hero Arts' Christmas Clear stamps. Well, I have to say "I really like this card!!"....

This card is special because the Christmas tree was embossed on the sanded paper and we sand it to reveal the embossed Christmas tree. Different sizes of punched flowers that looks like snow flakes are being placed at the top of the tree to reflect the snow falling from the sky....=)

At first, when this card was produced, I only know it really looks different from every Christmas card that I have ever seen before. You know what?? I brought this card home and show it to some of my housemates and friends.... DO you know what are their comments?? You would be surprise..... They said this card is the best among all.... =)

I guess some of us would like a Christmas card to be different from what we see in the shopping mall or even in the book stores when Christmas is approaching. Agree?? Well, this card was done to reflect the view of a embossed window and the admosphere in the cold countries during Christmas.... Well, I guess ART is AMAZING!!! We create what we have in our mind and thoughts, thats creativity!!! Haha~~

HHmmm....After looking at this Christmas card and getting some comments from my group, yea I agree with them that this card is lack of 3 dimension thing....Now that I know where my weakness is, I should try to further improve this card when I am going to do the next candy cane card. I actually think that I should make the card smaller so that it does not look so HUGE like a GIANT...Haha~~

This Christmas card is actually a duplicate of the one above.. Though these cards have different type of deco but I believe they both have its own beauty....

We have three cards made out of this layout. As you can see from this card, we embossed the apple green paper with the christmas theme die to reflect the Christmas mood that some of us may have by now, although it is still in the early of October....=)

Ho! Ho! Ho!...

It was a cold windy raining day in Greeting Card Cottage... though there was no snow but only a heavily drops of water from heavenly sky. An inspiration came from the cottage freezing window and cold breezy air from the surrounding. Then... Bingo! A new collection was born... introducing the jolly goody Christmas collections... fresh from cottage.

We personally think the Alphabet "H" looks a bit weird don't you think? Anyway, we still have more to upload for viewer who are interested in giving hand made cards to your love ones.

This is my first pop up birthday card with a present box in the card. Although it was not properly done, but somehow, it still looks nice in it. It was specially done for my lovely mum 53th Birthday.....I am glad that she likes it~~

These two birthday cards were specially made for a very sweet little girl from Germany. She is Valerie. I hope she likes these cards. Actually this is the first card I made using the new "Happy Birthday" clear stamp that I ordered through EBay.... Personally, I like this clear stamp very much.

I add on some Prima Flowers to make this card look more adorable like the receiver!!...
The second birthday card, I use the Hero Arts birthday cupcakes to make this card. To make it look more interesting, I tie a bow using pearl color ribbon.
